We hired Richard and Daybreak Contracting to build our new home. Richard keeps you informed every step of the way, even offering tips and expertise for homebuilding necessities that we did prior to the build like having our foundation excavation done and poured. His work and company is of the highest quality and integrity. Honesty, thoughtfulness, and dedication are key words with this man and his company. If you are working on a tight budget, as we were, Rich works diligently to help you meet those financial restrictions even stepping aside from time to time in order that we might complete some of the tasks in our home ourselves such as painting and flooring, helping us keep within our budget all while offering the use of his equipment and of his extensive building knowledge during those processes. We have been in our new home for five months now and simply cannot get enough of being in and enjoying it.

Total renovation

Rich and his crew did a great job on my full house renovation. He is a very talented hard working builder. Very honest and can be depended on to do what he says he will do. He had shown great attention to detail that resulted in an outstanding completed project. If you looking for great work at a reasonable cost, Rich is your man.

A great Job!

Rich and Matt did a very professional job replacing my leaky 23 year old windows with beautiful new ones that now fit perfectly and look great. In spite of snow storms and below zero weather, they finished up everything quickly and well. I was very pleased, it was a pleasure to have them working here and I'll happily call on them for any future repairs.

Hedglin on Homes!

Our previous contractor had done a terrible job with the shower in our master bathroom. Water leaked down and soaked through the ceiling below. Rich saved us, tearing out the floor of the shower, laying a new leak-proof tile floor, repairing the water damage, and fixing the ceiling in the living room. He also documented everything so well that our homeowners insurance was impressed and paid the full amount of our claim - after our deductible. Great job! We joked that it was like "Hedglin on Homes" saving us from a previous poor contractor job.

Leak in Our Roof

We had leak in our roof. Rich and Matt came by and estimated the job at a very fair price. They replaced our roof ridge vent which a previous contractor hadn't installed correctly. They also found things to fix that we hadn't mentioned to them. They were excellent to work with - very easy to get along with - and most importantly - got the job done right. They'll be making a return visit to us soon.
